Fall outfit inspiration


As September approaches, fellow fall lovers like me start dreaming up outfits that capture all the cozy-chic vibes — or maybe just aim for comfy like Adam Sandler (I’m definitely team comfy). But if you’re prepping for a photoshoot, it’s a bit different.


Putting together an outfit that not only looks great on camera but also complements the season and feels like YOU can feel pretty daunting.


In today’s blog, I’m sharing two styling ideas to get you inspired: Cozy casual and Autumn chic.

Cozy Causal

In this first section, we’re pairing soft beige with cool blues and blacks a combo that feels relaxed and timeless. The contrast hits that cozy yet polished sweet spot, perfect for laid-back fall sessions.

Blues and Tan’s.


I am a bell bottom girly, there’s just something to feminine about pairing a nice Jean with cozy sweater.


whether your looking for a more branded shoot feel but still want to be casual I’d totally recommend this pairing.

Soft beige, a touch of blues


you really can’t go wrong with a casual shoot, in this example our couple paired a touch olive green, really tying the overall vibes together.


This style I would really recommend for city to small town, it adds warmth to a neutral background.

Neutral Tones


Here our couple brought all the neutral vibes—her soft beige, cozy grayish blue jeans , and a touch of black layering like a quiet melody, while his tan jacket adds that earthy warmth, all while matching his jeans with her boots.


Together, they create a balanced harmony that feels grounded and natural—no flashy colors, just pure, easy elegance. It’s the kind of styling that lets their connection shine, 



Autumn Chic


Dive into the rich depths of fall with a moody mix of black, dark brown, and burnt orange — the perfect recipe for that sultry, cozy vibe. Pairing these earthy, saturated tones is an autumn ritual you can’t skip.

Soft Browns

layering different shades of brown can add dimension to your outs and keeps thing interesting.


Adding a cardigan can tie the look together while allowing you to adapt to ever changing fall weather during your shoot.


With outfits like this they are so versatile for really any environment.

Here’s another example of layering browns, this time paired with black and this is where everyone’s personal style really comes into play.


For family shoots, mixing different color combinations and textures adds uniqueness and creates an aesthetic that’s pleasing to the eye.


Brown and black together work especially well in more evergreen environments, where the deep, earthy tones complement the rich greens beautifully.

Rich tones

In this photo, the family nailed it by mixing rich creams with burnt orange—pure perfection.


I’m all about those deep, warm fall colors, especially when the backdrop’s a bit muted.


Bright oranges paired with creamy tones pull your eye right to the subjects, creating a beautiful contrast that feels both vibrant and grounded.

moody tones


Same thing here as in the last example, hues of orange in fall are chefs kiss. Whether you’re looking for a more moody edit or soft and whimsical. You can never go one with this pairing, it also suits all skin tones.
